Pressure reduction device for compressed gas

The device has a two modular pressure reducers (D1, D2) retained in a cylindrical tube (1) by a spring retaining ring (22). Each reducer is maintained in engagement with the ring by the gas pressure in a low pressure chamber (CBP). The reducers function in parallel and are mounted in the tube in opposite direction. A low pressure output orifice (OBP) in communication with the chamber is formed in the tube. Each pressure reducer has a piston (4) movable with respect to a piston seat to regulate the gas pressure in the low pressure chamber (CBP) delimited between the reducers. The pistons are oriented in a face-to-face manner. Each pressure reducer is free to rotate around a longitudinal axis of the cylindrical tube.
