摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select/extract a shake quantity in which an optimum data interval is kept, to obtain detected shake quantity data which is not affected by brightness at the time of executing photographing and to correct a shake by selecting shake quantity data to be used for predictively calculating the shake, which was detected in the past, based on a reference value for a time interval. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with a selecting means for selecting the shake quantity data to be used for predictively calculating the shake, which was detected in the past, based on the reference value for the time interval. In the camera, a shake quantity detecting part 51 consists of a shake quantity calculating part 511, a data selecting part 512 and a predicted shake quantity calculating part 513, the shake quantity is obtained by using image data from a signal processing part 44 and further, a predicted shake quantity is obtained by using the shake quantity. The data selecting part 512 selects/extracts four shake quantities including the latest shake quantity from a memory 56, by using a specified reference time. The predicted shake quantity calculating part 513 calculates the predicted shake quantity, with four shake quantities selected/ extracted by the data selecting part 512, in each of horizontal and vertical directions.
