One man anti tank weapon - has firing tube, shell and charges formed as disposable integral unit separate from pistol grip

The anti-tank weapon to be carried by one man, uses a small pistol shaped grip for controlling firing, all the other components being combined as a disposable unit. This unit consists of the firing tube, the shot, the driving charge, shock absorbing packing and ignition charge. The firing tube incorporates projecting lugs which fit into corresp. recesses on the pistol. The tube grip incorporates a projecting handle for easy handling and the firing unit incorporates a disc for protection from smoke and dirt and also shock absorbing projections. The firing tube is made of glass fibre reinforced plastics or aluminium.
