<p>The arcing protection system for a liquid cooled transformer uses a measuring aerial for measuring the magnetic field components. The aerial is connected to a broad band amplifier with its output connected by a rectifier to an analog integrator which receives clock pulses and input signals from an AND gate. The output is passed to a Schmitt trigger and another AND gate to an output amplifier and a switching device. The aerial can be a frame aerial. It can alternatively be a rod aerial, and can be connected to a selective amplifier.</p> |
