<p>A piece of foil sheet, made of metal or strong plastics, used as roof covering is used esp. for roof joints and finishes. One side of it is coated with a tarry substance (1). This can be in the form of bitumen enriched with plastics particles. The sheet can be a strip bent at an angle, with shanks coated on the inside or outside. One shank may have a non-coated edge part. This provides optimal watertightness and resistance to corrosion, in production and working, at low cost with plastics as effective as metal.</p> |
