PURPOSE:To remove phase distortion in a DC/AC type phase modulator by using a valance modulating part time-sharingly through the 1st and 2nd selecting part. CONSTITUTION:The sine and cosine components of an input signal phi(t) is selected by the 1st selecting part 22 and the selected output is inputted to the single balance modulating part 25 as a signal wave. Simultaneously, two carriers with the phase difference of pi/2 each other are outputted from an oscillating part 21 and selected by the 2nd selecting part 23 locked with the signal selection of the 1st selecting part 22. These selected signals are inputted to the same balance modulator 25 as carriers. An output part 26 takes out only the prescribed frequency from the output signal of the balance modulating part 25. |
