<p>Lead accumulator has alternating lead-containing anode and cathode plates (2a, 2b), between which are microporous polyethylene separators (5). These have fibrous layers (6a, 6b) on either surface. The separators and the fibrous layers have a thickness of at least 100 microns. The average fiber length is above 1mm and their average diameter is above 1 micron. The fibrous layers are fastened to the separators.</p> |
