The module has a light source (9) connected to a reflector (4) and a screen (16) that is movable around an axis of rotation to present two discrete positions within the module, such that the module generates two light beams corresponding to different photometry. The screen is positioned using holes distributed successively on the length of the screen or on its movable support. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a headlamp type lighting device for motor vehicle (B) a device for controlling movement of a movable screen (C) a method for controlling movement of a movable screen of an optical module.
