发明名称 HEATING METHOD OF HEAT-SHRINKABLE TUBE FOR REINFORCING OPTICAL FIBER
摘要 PURPOSE:To prevent the sticking between a heater and a heat-shrinkable tube after cooling and to facilitate their separation by winding a nonadhesive sheet around the surface of the heater which heats the heat-shrinkable tube of the melt-sticking connection part of the optical fiber. CONSTITUTION:The heat-shrinkable tube 3 made of polyethylene for reinforcement of the melt-sticking connection part of an optical fiber core 2 contacts the top surface of the heater 1, but the sheet 4 of a 0.1mm. thickness nickel silver sheet whose one surface is coated with ''Teflon'' to a 30mum thickness is wound around the heater surface. This method which utilizes the nonadhesiveness of this ''Teflon'' coat requires only an about 80g force for separation after cooling as compared with an about 500g force in a coventional method, and the sticking force is almost eliminated when the heater temperature is held at 60 deg.C, obtaining great effect on operativity and reliability.
