PURPOSE:To make a caller dial a new number without hooking on a handset by stopping a call when a call during calling is responded for a prescribed time so as to connect the caller to an outgoing register. CONSTITUTION:Suppose that an extension telephone set 101 is calling an extension telephone set 102 by a path 151. If the extension telephone set 102 does not respond even after a prescribed time, a common controller 140 stops the calling from the extension telephone set 101 to the extension telephone set 102 so as to connect an outgoing register 130 to the extension telephone set 101 by a path 152. When a caller of the extension telephone set 101 listenes to a dial tone and dials the number of the extension telephone set 103, the common controller 140 calls the extension telephone set 103 from the extension telephone set 101 by a path 153. |
