METHOD AND DEVICE FOR SLUDGE TREATMENT

PURPOSE:To treat efficiently sludge with a small-sized device by juxtaposing >=2 units of net filter tanks which are provided with filter nets for sludge in the lower half part and are provided with contact filter medium layers via roasters in the upper half part and filtering alternately sewage therein. CONSTITUTION:The sewage filtered by a filter net 13 moves in an arrow A direction and flows through a perforated drain pipe 22 and a discharging manhole 6 or 7 into a secondary treating device 9. The net 13 is first contracted by a net filter tank 2 but as the filtered sludge S accumulates, the net expands and org. solid material S' sticks over the entire surface of the net 13, thereby having an increased thickness. As the filtration progresses, the resistance thereof increases and the water level rises to LH1 from a planned water level LH0 according to the increase in the resistance in the tank 2. When said level is attained, a solenoid valve 5 is changed over and the sewage is introduced into another net filter tank 3. The tank 2 operated as a settling and filtering basin is used as a tank for thickening and storing the sludge.
