A multifunction electric tractor is disclosed. The tractor includes a tractor frame. The tractor frame includes a front end and a rear end. An implement is connected to the frame and has a moving part. A sensor is adapted to monitor a motion-related property of the moving part. A signal generator is in communication with the sensor. The signal generator generate s motion data signals indicative of a current status of the motion-related property. A controller is in communication with the signal generator. The controll er generates a response affecting the operation of the tractor based at least i n part on the motion data signals.
