FIELD: method and equipment for crushing and grinding of various materials. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves beginning procedure of grinding semi-finished claydite product into granules of predetermined size at moisture content of 17% and performing sequential grinding by cutting with the help of cutting tool formed as three-thread screw having three knife sectors sharpened at an angle of 20 deg, said sectors being spaced from one another by distance of 17 deg; setting granule sizes by changing gap between detachable grate bars of ganged grate with the use of spacer bushings of various sizes. Apparatus has grinding chamber, horizontal rotor shaft carrying cutting tools made in the form of three-thread screw with three knife sectors, and bar grate composed of detachable bars which are spaced from one another by gaps provided through the use of spacer bushings.
