A dental implant (1),comprising a base body with a threaded section (2) and a pin (4) is disclosed, for mounting a dental crown, said base body being in one piece. According to the invention, the one piece base body is at least largely made from zirconium oxide or a mixture of zirconium oxide and aluminium.
