A flexible vessel (7) is located inside the enclosed space (5) defined by the reservoir casing (2) and includes a means (8) for connecting it to a liquid inlet and outlet. The casing comprises two closure parts (4) and at least one casing section (3) resting on a base surface (1). Ribs extend along the casing section walls. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) Combination of several of these reservoirs in which the casings are connected together on top of the same base surface to form separate reservoir spaces; and (B) Method for constructing the reservoir by erecting the casing on top of a base surface and then covering with soil.
