The locking jaw (1), especially for the chuck of a percussion drill, consists of a base (2) with a row of teeth (3) to engage with the chuck thread and a hard metal segment (7) on an inclined locking surface (4). The segment is in two parts (8), each with a locking edge (9), set in a groove (6) in the jaw's locking surface (4), and they have a transverse groove. The locking edges are offset on either side of the segment's median axis and are set up to 0.75 mm apart.
|
