<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein if a file is partly damaged, trying to read out the whole file results in no data being read out or all the data being read out without any information on where the data are garbled. <P>SOLUTION: For a file of record type structure or transparent type structure, an IC card has a command determination part for determining the type of an externally received command; an error check part for checking error detection codes of read-requested records or fields if the command determination part determines that the command is a record read command; and an output control part for outputting records or fields determined to be normal and records or fields determined to be abnormal by the error check part as adding a predetermined identifier such that both can be identified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
