PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device capable of ensuring smooth operation while being miniaturized. SOLUTION: A nut 45 is inserted in and fixed to a sleeve 50. Irrespective of the shape of an outer circumferential surface of the nut 45, a driven gear part 50a to receive the power transmitted from an electric motor 35 can be provided on outer circumferential surfaces outwardly in the radial direction of rolling raceways (23b, 45f) in the sleeve 50, and when the power is transmitted from the electric motor 35 to the driven gear part 50a, a smooth operation can be performed by suppressing the entanglement of the nut 45. Further, by providing the driven gear part 50a to receive the transmission transmitted from the electric motor 35 on outer circumferential surfaces outwardly in the radial direction of the rolling raceways (23b, 45f), the length in the axial direction of the sleeve 50 and the nut 45 can be suppressed. In addition, the nut 45 having a female screw 45f formed therein is inserted in and fixed to the sleeve 50 having the driven gear part 50a formed thereon, both components can be separately worked, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
