PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of the lack of an FM signal due to the abrupt change of a luminance signal level due to the transmission (frequency/loss) characteristic of a transmission line for connecting a slave unit to a master unit, and to output a clear image of high visibility without reverse phenomenon with a composite video signal imaged by an imaging part of a slave unit to a master unit. SOLUTION: In outputting the composite image signal S2 imaged by the imaging part 11 of the slave unit 1a to the display unit 21 of the master device 2 connected to the slave unit through the transmission line L1, the sink chip level potential of the composite video signal is fixed through a clamp circuit 13a. The sink chip level fixed at its potential is used as the highest frequency. The video signal is (FM) modulated through a VCO circuit 14a with the sink chip level fixed at the potential used as the highest frequency, so that the larger the luminance signal level becomes, the lower the frequency is transferred.
