PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive for use in tiles which is capable of giving a good external appearance without making the connecting resin at a joint part stand out at the time of fixing to a base material by way of the adhesive layer a tile unit that a plurality of tiles are arranged fixedly and connected with a connecting resin. SOLUTION: The adhesive is used for the building material that the tile unit, in which a plurality sheet of tiles are arranged at a given joint interval and connected with a connecting resin, is fixed to a base material by way of a layer of said adhesive, characterized in that the above layer of said adhesive is formed with a pattern comprising a plurality of such irregular convex portions in the projection form as are formed at the time of coating the said adhesive with a roller.
