PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistatic agent having excellent antistatic ability and an antistatic coating. SOLUTION: The antistatic agent comprises an active energy ray-curing resin composition composed of an unsaturated resin containing one or more radically polymerizable unsaturated groups on the average and a hydrophilic group and/or a hydrophilic group to become hydrophilic by hydrolysis in one molecule and electroconductive fine particles that are composite fine particles composed of zinc oxide as a main component and having≤0.2μm average primary particle diameter as essential components.
