PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oxygen concentrator which can quickly convey required information such as a degree of abnormality to a user when an abnormality occurs in the concentrator. SOLUTION: In a step 100, the oxygen concentrator uses its sensor etc. to judge whether abnormality has occurred in the oxygen concentrator or not. The oxygen concentrator goes to a step 110 when it is judged YES in the step 100, while goes to a stand-by when judged NO. In the step 110, the oxygen concentrator selects the contents of notification of abnormality in accordance with abnormality contents. That is, lighting color of a lamp or a condition of lighting the lamp is set to be changed in accordance with a rank of the abnormality. In the following step 120, a means to notify corresponding abnormality in accordance with abnormality contents is driven to process to notify the abnormality to a user. That is, lighting operation of the lamp is controlled in accordance with the rank of abnormality.
