PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device configured to improve a rise in temperature regardless of the kind of a recording material to be fixed, prevent an abnormal state such as wrinkle of the recording material from being caused, and suppress deterioration in fixed image quality by preventing a rubbing trace from being formed on a belt used for fixation and a roller wound with the same. SOLUTION: The fixing device is equipped with fixing belts 101 and 110 having expansion surfaces opposed to the top and reverse surfaces of the recording material, exit rollers 101B and 110B having smaller diameters than a fixing roller 101A and a pressure roller 110A are provided behind the fixing roller 101A and pressure roller 110A of the same constitution which form nip parts of the fixing belts 101 and 110 in the moving directions of the belts 101 and 110, and the arrangement relationship between the exit rollers 101B and 110B is prescribed to form approximate nip parts in addition to original nip parts, thereby expanding a fixation area and also securing flatness of the recording material and curvature separation by the exit rollers.
