<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device in which developing means can be easily exchanged, spattering of toner is prevented, and jamming around a transfer belt can be easily eliminated. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is equipped with a housing main part in which each image forming station and intermediate transfer belt are internally disposed, and a rotation section which is freely rotatably mounted at the housing main part. The intermediate transfer belt and an image carrier or the intermediate transfer belt, and the image carrier, and the developing means are disposed in the rotation section. The image forming device includes the image carrier of the each color and the intermediate transfer belt disposed in the rotation section, a belt driving gear for driving the driving roller, an image carrier driving gear intermeshed with the belt driving gear to drive the image carrier of the each color, a relay gear to be intermeshed between the image carrier driving gears of the each color, a driving motor provided on the housing main part and disposed on the extreme upstream side of the downwardly facing belt face in the conveyance direction and a transmission gear meshed with the driving motor and the image carrier driving gear on the extreme upstream side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
