PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine and facsimile communication system capable of dealing with a transmitting method appropriately on the side of a receiver and performing reception when color file information is transmitted continuously as one-page information on the side of a transmitter in color information communication photographed by a digital still camera in a color space sYCC, and facilitating a user to use it. SOLUTION: When JPEG communication of the color space sYCC is specified by the transmitter and a plurality of sheets of images are included in the page information (when a thumb nail is received together), the facsimile machine performs reception processing with reception information as the plurality of sheets of images.
