PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single core bidirectional light transmitter-receiver module capable of obtaining highly functional single core bidirectional light transmitting-receiving characteristics while making use of an optical fiber type coupler and taking advantage of the optical fiber type component. SOLUTION: The single core bidirectional optical transmitter-receiver module 20 provided with the optical fiber type coupler comprising; at least a pigtail fiber 22 for output, a a pigtail fiber 23 for input, and a pigtail fiber 24 for output; ferrules 25, 26 connected to the pigtail fiber for input and the pigtail fiber for output of the optical fiber type coupler; an optical transmitter module part which has a light emitting element and is mechanically connected to the ferrule at the input side; an optical receiver module part which has a light receiving element and is mechanically connected to the ferrule at the output side; and a dielectric multi-layer film filter 33 arranged between a pigtail end face in the optical receiver module part and the light receiving element almost perpendicular to their optical axis.
