PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shutter device which is not deformed even when impulsive force by dropping or the like is exerted, and further can be made thin, and a camera device using the same. SOLUTION: A flat blade sliding surface 3a where a shutter blade 12 freely slides is formed on the upper surface of the base member 3 of the shutter device S, and an outer peripheral wall 3d higher than the blade sliding surface 3a is formed on the outer periphery side of the blade sliding surface 3a, and a hollow housing part 3e in which an actuator 2 can be housed is formed at a part between the outer peripheral wall 3d and an aperture part 3b, and reinforcing parts 4 and 5 for reinforcing the outer peripheral wall 3d are formed as high as the outer peripheral wall 3d or higher than the outer peripheral wall 3d at least in the housing part 3e.
