PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fingering information correction device for correcting an inadequate fingering. SOLUTION: Each time an evaluation object note of inadequate fingering is retrieved out of fingerings corresponding to each note constituting a tune and a new fingering from the thumb to the little finger is allocated to the evaluation object note, whether the fingering is inadequate or not is decided. When the fingering is inadequate, a first evaluation value is generated. When the fingering is not inadequate, a second evaluation value to be determined in accordance with the relationship between the evaluation object note and the next note is generated. Each time the first or the second evaluation value is generated, the evaluation value is updated into the value smaller than the preceding value and the minimum evaluation value is set as a fingering criterion, and the fingering meeting the fingering criterion is allocated to the evaluation object note. Since the fingering criterion is eased by reducing the first or the second evaluation value in accordance with the number of times of user's correction operations performed under musical correction conditions, inadequate fingerings can be corrected.
