PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a light wave interference device, with which the intensity of an interference laser beam irradiated to a target is raised, without impairing the effect of modulation interference. SOLUTION: The modulation signals of two laser beams are combined in phase at the irradiated airframe side, by irradiating the airframe of identical target with the two laser beams modulated by a common modulation signal. Moreover, time difference is mutually provided with the light-emitting timing of the two pulse-like laser beams modulated by the common modulation signal, based on the distance information of the airframe; thereby the two pulse-like laser beams are received at the airframe side at the same timing, combined as one pulse light in which the intensity is enhanced. The two reflected lights from the airframe are received with the same timing, combined as a single reflected light, and the error at the distance calculating time from the airframe is reduced.
