PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerial defense simulation system capable of reducing user's man-hours of putting aerial defence elements in position to improve convenience. SOLUTION: An aerial defense area determined by the user is divided into a plurality of small regions like a mesh, and an area of radar range is calculated on the basis of three-dimensional data of a digital map in assuming that a radar 11c is installed in each small region. The result is displayed with GUI (graphical User Interface) by changing a display color of the mesh with gradient. Then an aerial defense index is calculated by simulation on each mesh selected and designated by the user, and its result is presented to the user. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
