PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoisting tool of a steel pipe capable of more quickly and safely executing mounting and detaching of a hacker on/from the steel pipe as compared with a conventional hoisting tool. SOLUTION: This hoisting tool constituted of a supporting member suspended from a hook of a crane and having a length equal to the steel pipe to be carried and the hacker connected to wires mounted at both ends of the supporting member and holding the end parts of the steel pipe is improved. Concretely, a lock tool to the steel pipe is mounted on the hacker. The lock tool is provided with a contact member joined to an external surface of a claw part of the hacker, a cylindrical body vertically joined in the contact surface direction, a bar-shaped body reciprocatively moving within the cylindrical body, a spring for energizing the bar-shaped body in the moving direction, a stopper for holding the bar-shaped body at a stored position within the cylindrical body, and a lever for operating the stopper.
