PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable formation by simplifying especially the installation of a regenerative brake in a brake hydraulic mechanism. SOLUTION: A brake device of a vehicle has at least one friction brake capable of being operated through a brake pedal and a main cylinder 26 and the regenerative brake, wherein a compensation device 28 is provided for operating a mechanical coupling between the brake pedal 22 and the main cylinder 26 during the regenerative brake being in operation.
