The invention relates to a method for producing tissue with the aid of a weaving loom comprising a stop bar, at least one shed and a heddle for carrying out said method. The inventive method is characterized in that warp thread guiding a filling yarn cooperates with a longitudinal heddle connected to the filling yarn and is arranged between said filling yarn and the stop bar of the weaving loom.
