The invention relates to a positive displacement circulating motor, comprising a first and a second externally-toothed drive gearwheel (Z1, Z2) and a housing (10), whereby a working chamber (11), with a first and a second gearwheel chamber (111, 112), is embodied in the housing (10). The first drive gearwheel (Z1) is arranged to rotate in the first and the second drive gear wheel to rotate in the second gearwheel chamber (111, 112) and the drive gearwheels engage with each other in an overlap region for the gearwheel chambers (111, 112). Pumping chambers (31, 32) for a fluid are defined between the teeth (21, 22) of each drive gearwheel (Z1, Z2), with an inlet and an outlet channel (13, 14) for the fluid, whereby the inlet channel (13) opens into the engaging region (12) for the drive gearwheels (Z1, Z2) in a pre-chamber (130) to the working chamber (11), the outlet channel (14) opens outside the engaging region (12) into the first gearwheel chamber (111) and the fluid pumped into the pumping chamber (32) of the second drive gearwheel (Z2) is recycled to the pre-chamber (130) through the engaging region. |
