The ground anchor (1) is for fixture of an object, e.g. a sunshade in the ground surface and has an anchoring section (2) for penetration in the ground, with a ground anchor head (3) and a head piece (3') at one end. It has at least two hand levers (4) pivotable on the ground anchor head around an axis vertical to the ground anchor longitudinal axis (L). For insertion or withdrawal of the ground anchor in or out of the ground, the hand levers are pivotable with t heir free ends into a position standing away from the head piece for tensioning an upright of a sun shade held in the ground anchor, using a locating or clamp piece (10) for the sun shade upright (11). On the head piece, a tension component (12) is adjustable in the axial direction of the ground anchor.
