<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet folding device, capable of integrally feeding a sheet bundle through a nip part, and reducing the burden of push-in by a blade member to the sheet bundle. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with a sheet number recognition part to recognize the number of sheets composing the sheet bundle, the blade member movable to advance to/retract from the nip part for pushing the sheet bundle at a center to the nip part by advancing to it, and a blade member advance control part to push the sheet bundle into the nip part to depth set to the number of sheets recognized by the sheet number recognition part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
