<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the lens characteristics of the micro-lenses of a micro-lens array plate. <P>SOLUTION: A lens curved face S1 of each micro-lens 500 extends to each side of the bottom face B1 of the micro-lens 500 from a vertex P1, and has different curvature radii in X-direction, Y-direction and diagonal directions. Each lens curved face S1 is formed so as to match the shape of a pixel aperture area where rays of light condense.
