<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect an elevating and lowering position (vertical direction) of a stacker tray which is controlled to be elevated. <P>SOLUTION: This stacker tray device TH1 has a tray upper limit position sensor SN3 for detecting that the stacker tray 123 has moved to the tray upper limit position in which sheets are discharged to the stacker tray 123 with no sheets on the stacker tray 123, and a tray elevating and lowering position detection means which detects the position of the stacker tray 123 in the elevating and lowering direction by detecting a movement amount of the stacker tray 123 from the tray upper limit position corresponding to the rotational amount from the tray upper limit position of a tray elevating and lowering motor M6 which moves the stacker tray 123 between the tray upper limit position and the lower limit position at a lower portion and resetting the detection value of the movement amount of the stacker tray 123 from the tray upper limit position to 0 (zero) when it is detected that there are no sheets on an upper surface of the stacker tray 123 moved to the upper limit position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
