<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit time and effort for deleting an NAPTR record from an ENUM server by the user of an IP telephone apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 201 in an IP telephone apparatus 101 automatically controls to transmit, from a network I/F 205 to an ENUM server 103, a request for deleting an NAPTR record when an absent key 303 is pressed. Also, the CPU 201 regularly transmits, from the network I/F 205 to the ENUM server 103 , an inquiry for an NAPTR record of the IP telephone apparatus 102. When the CPU 201 receives, from the ENUM server 103 via the network I/F 205, a response indicating that the NAPTR record of the IP telephone apparatus 102 has been deleted, in response to the inquiry, the CPU 201 turns off a lamp 305 indicating that the user is at home. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
