CEMENT SOLIDIFICATION MATERIAL FOR ORGANIC SOIL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement solidification material for organic soil, which enables good strength development of treated soil and can be produced at a low cost without using any adsorbent for adsorbing an organic acid. SOLUTION: The cement solidification material is produced by adding 0.5-11 pts.wt. sulfate to 100 pts.wt mixture of 70-90 wt.% Portland cement and 10-30 wt.% gypsum. The deposition of a calcium salt of the organic acid on the surface of calcium silicate mineral in the cement can be reduced by mixing the cement solidification material into the organic soil, which prevents inhibition of hydration of the cement and enables good strength development of the treated soil.
