PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet recorder enabling the ink-dropping to be certainly prevented even in case that a printing head 201 is carelessly separated. SOLUTION: The ink-jet recorder is equipped with a valve means enabling an ink-feeding passage to be closed and opened while being composed so that the valve means may close the ink-feeding passage in connecting with the movement of a cap-off manual lever.
