PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type motor capable of making the reduction of cogging torque and the reduction of a torque ripple compatible at energization in a sophisticated manner. SOLUTION: The permanent magnet type motor comprises a permanent magnet in a rotor. Skew magnetization is applied to the permanent magnet. The direction of the skew magnetization is inverted at least twice. Inversion is so performed as to reduce both the cogging torque and the torque ripples. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
