PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device in which unevenness of thickness of an organic EL layer due to liquid drop of an organic EL material solution sputtering by touching a mask in spray coating method is prevented, and which is superior in display performance. SOLUTION: This is a mask which is used arranged on a substrate at the time of coating on the substrate by spraying an organic EL material solution. The mask has an opening provided corresponding to the coating region of the organic EL material solution, and a wall is provided on the opposite side of the substrate surface of the mask.
