PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a verticalness confirmation line writing-in method and tool for a tapered pole capable of writing easily and accurately a verticalness confirmation line for erecting the tapered pole in a vertical direction. SOLUTION: This tool for writing the verticalness confirmation line 5 for confirming an erected condition of the tapered pole 2 with a side face formed into a tapered shape comprises a plate body 18 having a weight 26 for making a position with respect to the tapered pole 2 constant, a verticalness confirmation hole 28 for confirming a position of the weight 26, and a clamping insertion hole 20 inserted with the tapered pole 2. The plate body 18 is provided dividably, and is provided with an orthogonal line 30 positioned at a right angle each other as a mark for writing the verticalness confirmation line 5 in.
