PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant growth promoter better than DSP(a plant growth-promoting peptide mixture obtained by decomposing soybean meal using Bacillus circulans HA12 strain). SOLUTION: The plant growth promoter comprises as active ingredient a peptide that is obtained by hydrolyzing a soybean whey or soybean trypsin inhibitor using an alkali protease.
