PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting unit capable of enhancing the working effectiveness in installing a molding on a roof. SOLUTION: The mounting unit 8 consists in a consolidated structure of a clip 14 capable of being removably mounted on the molding 9 with a bracket 15 having a threaded portion 28. Using this unit 8 allows holding the molding 9 previously through utilization of the clip 14, and thereupon it is possible to insert the threaded portion 28 of the mounting unit 8 into an insert hole 6 formed previously in the roof 1. Therefore, the molding 9 can be installed on the roof 1 only by engaging with the threaded portion from inside the roof 1, which allows enhancement of the working effectiveness.
