PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a radial tire for an aircraft and improve cut resistance. SOLUTION: The radial tire 10 for the aircraft is equipped with at least one carcass layer where a lot of cords practically makes straight relative to the tire equator surface embedded in the inside, and a belt layer 20 in the outside of the radial direction of the carcass. The belt layer 20 is wound in a spiral manner in almost circumferential direction and continuously wound from the start to the end of winding. The thickness of the belt layer 20 gradually decreases from the thickness G0 of the center part toward the end of the belt, and the belt layer has a reinforcing part having an increased thickness g near the belt end.
