PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the deterioration of quality during storage period of unpolished rice or polished rice in each area of a grain polishing plant as much as possible. SOLUTION: The grain polishing control method for the grain polishing plant comprises a first process of storing arriving unpolished rice once in an unpolished rice tank, a second process of grain polishing the unpolished rice subjected to the first process and storing in a polished rice tank, and a third process of sending the polished rice subjected to the second process to a blending tank area in a rear stage or to a shipping area. For a same kind of grain, the first process is executed on the arrival day of unpolished rice, the second process is executed on the storing day to the unpolished rice tank, and the third process is executed giving priority to the rice of older grain polishing date.
