PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load on the environment caused by the waste disposal after use as much as possible by reducing the quantity of plastics used in a paper muddler, paper spoon or paper knife or paper shaft as much as possible. SOLUTION: Both ends of a shaft part 2 of the paper muddler 1 are compression-molded to make flat parts 3 and 4. The paper shaft before the compression is formed by winding a paper sheet material around the shaft a plurality of times and bonding the paper sheet material to the shaft. Water-resistant glass comprising siloxane bonding is applied to the surface of the paper shaft after the flat parts 3 and 4 are formed, and the paper shaft is hardened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
