In one embodiment, the method can further include: requesting a user authentication; determining if the user authentication is valid; and not providing the user (110) with the information about the even (106) if the authentication is not valid. In another exemplary embodiment, the method can further include: storing the detected event (106) in a database and querying the database for events (106) matching the notification criteria (108).
